Storming Varano: World Malossi Day 2026

Battle plan revealed for the loudest, friendliest track invasion of the year

Back at Calderara HQ, the place is buzzing. With 20th September 2026 just around the corner, we’re gearing up to take over the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti circuit in Varano de’ Melegari (Parma) – and we aren’t just hitting the tarmac. That Sunday gives us the ultimate reason to make some noise: dropping the flag on the 39th season of the Trofei Malossi races and throwing open the gates of the Miscela Village to our closest friends and followers.

The tactical plan to win you over

You don’t set out to conquer a circuit – even a peaceful takeover – without checking you’ve got serious horsepower under the saddle first. That’s why our rolling road dyno rig will be running flat out, measuring and certifying the genuine output of every scooter and moped rolling in to back the cause.

The heavy artillery will be dominating the airspace courtesy of 3 back-to-back motocross stunt shows by FMX INTERNATIONAL: to put it bluntly, look up and hold your breath, because in their freestyle sets, tyres rarely touch down – spending most of their time floating 10 metres above the asphalt.

Over on the MRA front line, you can get a taste of what the Academy riders experience by hopping onto the moto simulator. The only real risk? Once you’re tucked in over the bars of the Aerox, you’ll probably find yourself signing up on the spot for Season 7 of the Malossi Racing Academy.

Special forces on the groung

Long-standing MRA partner Milwaukee will be deploying the finest pro-grade workshop kit around. Right alongside them, the creative strike team sets up camp: Paky will be running a live spray session on his latest experiment, the F12 Chopper. Every Malosser on site is welcome to jump in, pitch design cues, or lay down details directly onto the fairings.

Paky won’t be the only operative in the paddock:

Devais, fresh from his stint in the Trofei ScooterMatic race, and Torquato Testa, stationed over at the Malossi Racing Academy, will make targeted sorties into the Miscela Village.

Ivan Giussani will hold down his own compound alongside his fully Malossi-spec HM Derapage, while Arabgt will be closing ranks nearby with his gilded Ciao  – a one-off skunkworks build, also given the full Malossi treatment – spilling the secrets on how he turned a humble moped into an untouchable getaway machine.

Directing ground operations from the mic: commander Henry Favre, keeping the timetable locked down and interviewing key figures alongside DJ Roy.

The heritage front

Alongside the official shop and displays of our celebrated back-catalogue racers, this year we’re rolling out a dedicated Vintage Area. Think archive hardware and mechanical relics tracing both our development story and that of our veteran riders.

Just steps away on the front line, you can get up close and personal with a curated fleet of our most iconic builds: our custom Ford Raptor support truck, the Fantic, and one of our signature ground-up Vespa transformations. We won’t be the only ones bringing two-wheeled reinforcements, either: over at the Italjet stand – a trusted MRA ally for years now – you can feast your eyes on some of the marque’s most aggressive metal, Dragster included.

The spoils of war

While the racers go all-in on track – with live race coverage streaming on the Trofei  Malossi YouTube channel, anchored by Elisa Mazzucchelli and Giovanni Barsotti – you can catch your breath over at the Miscela Village chill-out zone. Fuel up on fresh piadinas, ice-cold drinks, genuine Malossi merch from our shop, and freebies dropping like confetti.

Before standing down and heading home, jump into the Photobus – our vintage VW camper packed with props – to snap and print your souvenir shot from the day.

We’re locked, loaded, and ready to roll. The only thing missing is you: see you trackside at the Autodromo circuit in Varano on 20th September!
