Down along the lidos, the sun loungers are stacked up, the beach huts are locked down, and Rimini’s coastline has that melancholy, end-of-season feel about it. Yet Malossers don’t do quiet off-seasons. We’re heading down to inject pure noise, raw energy, and genuine two-stroke chaos into the sand.
Naturally, this was all Henry Favre’s bright idea.
What, How, When: inside Malossi Beach
Let’s flick into reverse for a second to explain what’s going down: from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th October 2026, the sands of Rimini will host the fourth edition of Malle Mutór – four days of pure enduro action centred around the MM Bivouac. Entry is completely free of charge, and the second you step through the gates, it carries the distinct aura of an international desert rally. Here, middleweight and big-bore adventure bikes tackle brand-new off-road routes, offering two distinct loop options each day that wear their local Romagnolo swagger proudly on their sleeve: Sburona and Patacata.
Right in the thick of it, on Saturday 10th October, we’ll be there in force with an official stand, Henry Favre, and 40 screaming two-stroke missiles – mopeds and scooters in any condition imaginable – ready to tear up a dedicated sand track. Any Malosser aged 18 or over can get involved. All you need is the €30 registration fee (which covers insurance via the host motorcycle club), a suitable vehicle, and a valid medical certificate confirming you’re fit and healthy to ride.

Fancy joining the madness? You’ve got two options:
– Drop Henry an email at favrehenry95@gmail.com to get the full lowdown and tell him what you’re riding (he’ll let you know if it’s up to the job and how to dial it in for deep sand).
– Or rock up on the day at 9:00 a.m. sharp with your entry fee, your machine, and your medical certificate. See you paddock-side.
What Malossi Beach isn’t
We’re crashing Malle Mutór purely for the buzz, the paddock camaraderie, and a laugh – end of story. Malossi Beach is not a race, and nobody is pulling out a stopwatch. We line up together, carve our lines through the sand, cheer on whoever reaches the finish line, and ruthlessly wind up anyone who gets bogged down. If the beach swallows your machine, fair play: we’ll just spend the rest of the day sinking greasy burgers and watching the enduro bikes, which will undeniably be moving a lot faster than us anyway.
Even though it’s pure, light-hearted mischief, rider safety is non-negotiable. That means the entry fee and valid medical certificate are strictly mandatory. Even if you’re packing the most tuned, fire-breathing moped on the planet, you’re not rolling past the marshall without them.

The Sunset beach body (paddock edition)
Anything goes. Your two-stroke workhorse doesn’t need to look showroom-fresh to earn its stripes here. No registration plate? No problem – you can still ride (just make sure you cart it down in the back of a van). Fairings completely missing? Doesn’t matter. Bring a small-capacity scrambler or an old-school Ciao. That said, if you actually want to have fun and make progress, we’d strongly suggest something with a bit of engine tuning under the belt: loose sand is a notorious horsepower thief.
We can already picture Malossi Beach as the sun dips below the horizon – the shoreline clearing out, and 40 pinned engines tearing up the tideline, refusing to let summer die. Get yourself down here: on Saturday 10th October, Rimini beach is our playground.
