The first edition of Miscela Day was epic—we had so much fun that this year, we felt a bit of performance anxiety, the same kind you get just before hitting the track for a big race.
We learned a few things from last year, so the Miscela Day 2024 schedule was a bit different, though the final goal remained unchanged: to have fun, fuel our passion, and get just the right amount of adrenaline—together. Here’s how it went down.
Miscela Day & Malossi Trophies: A Perfect Match!
When you combine the Miscela Village and the Malossi Trophies races, one thing is certain—someone will leave wanting to sign up for next year’s Malossi Racing Academy. And if, during the Pit Walk, you get to see Guzz qualify in first place on the first lap, you might just find yourself raising your hand to ask when MRA registration opens.
The voice and pen of the Malossi Trophies, the irreplaceable Emanuela Macrì, once again led us through the paddocks this year, where riders and their teams prepared for the battles ahead. Sure, there was tension, but the atmosphere was friendly, supportive, and absolutely unique—resisting the call of speed in such a setting is nearly impossible.
What better way to sum up the emotions felt on the Modena Circuit track on April 21 than with a recap of Veloce, eroi nel vento? Once again, Riccardo Malossi gave us goosebumps with a masterfully edited video of less than 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, at Miscela Village…
At Miscela Village, we were guided all day by DJ Roy’s voice, who—besides keeping us entertained—made sure everyone knew what to do and when to do it (thanks, Roy, without you, we’d still be wandering between the paddocks and the Welcome Desk).
Between the Telwin welding course, “Now Go and Dismantle Everything” challenge, gadget giveaways, Dyno Test, Moto Trainer, and everything else, we were definitely kept busy.
At the Carmagheddon Corner, among the world’s lowest Panda and scooter, the Carmagheddon crew awarded the winners of the Ugly & Arrogant Contest in three categories: Most Malosser, Most Arrogant, and Most Useless.
The host and mastermind behind the day, Henry Favre, was joined at different moments by some of the Malossi Trophies’ key figures. The masked influencer-racers Devais and Paky couldn’t escape a well-deserved and enthusiastic crowd bath.
And while our Shop was flooded with visitors from opening to closing, over at the Dyno Test, we caught a few who exaggerated their horsepower claims and recognized the truly humble ones, handing out certificates to all. Meanwhile, at the Dolly Noire Corner, the most dedicated Malossers were getting tattoos of our legendary lion or other Malossi-inspired designs, pledging their eternal love for the brand.
Amidst the revving engines and roaring exhausts, we were all hyped up by Malaika’s DJ Set, which provided the perfect soundtrack for the day.
Honorable Mention: The Food Trucks
Despite being surrounded by the intoxicating smell of fuel mix, we still managed to fully enjoy both traditional Romagna street food and gourmet delicacies. One thing’s for sure: no one passed out from hunger.
And now?
We organize Miscela Day and Malossi Day for you, to create a safe space where we can share and unleash our common passion for motorized two-wheelers.
We’ll once again turn the Motor Valley into Moped Valley on September 22 with Malossi Day, this time at the Autodromo di Varano de’ Melegari (PR).
However, we know that many fans can’t attend these events because they’re too far away.
That’s why Miscela Day is doubling up! On July 7, we’ll be at the Autodromo Valle dei Templi in Racalmuto, Agrigento, Sicily.
So, plan your vacations accordingly—you have no more excuses!
