For those enthusiasts of geared Vespas, Malossi’s Vespower line boosts the classic “small frame”, “large frame”, Cosa, and Ape models. And suppose you already relish the joys that only one of the Vespower electronic ignition kits – genuine bestsellers in the Malossi catalog – can offer, we have news for you: from today, you can upgrade by replacing the standard plastic cooling fan with the new aluminum Malossi Ø 167 MHR fan, offering numerous benefits.
High performance and featherlight
What’s the biggest challenge for Vespa enthusiasts and tuners regarding forced air? Striking the perfect balance between lightness and maximum cooling power. With the new Ø 167 MHR fan, code 7419899, Malossi has raced to their aid.
Our engineers have started from an evident truth: fewer blades have always meant less inertia (and thus greater engine responsiveness) and less cooling. We have succeeded – thanks to excellent design – in reducing the number of blades without compromising cooling performance. This new product is thus dedicated to all enthusiasts who run high-performance engines (over 9000 rpm), requiring less weight and, at the same time, the greatest possible airflow.
Blades in motion
To achieve this remarkable result, our team has reduced the number of main blades from 16 to 12 – alternating with 12 auxiliary blades – while maintaining the same cooling power.
The secret behind the impressive airflow that the fan can move lies in the special curvature of the main blades: compared to fan 7416936B, the main blades indeed have a greater curvature. It is precisely thanks to this new design that the new 7419899 maintains the same cooling power while reducing the number of blades and, consequently, increasing the component’s lightness.

Gleaming beauty
Moreover, the new Ø 167 MHR cooling fan is entirely milled from solid anodized red aluminum alloy and finished with diamond-cutting in the mounting area. Merely a cosmetic whim? Far from it: the diamond-cutting, in addition to ensuring a longer product lifespan, guarantees perfect adherence to the housing area. This entails:
- improved efficiency in the dissipation of generated heat,
- a reduction in vibrations,
- a decreased risk of loosening.
Choosing aluminum over plastic also contributes to smoother riding. Indeed, aluminum – in addition to actively participating in heat dissipation – does not deform due to high temperatures: fewer deformations correspond to fewer vibrations.

Full throttle performance: Malossi Vespower fans and ignitionsi
IAs part of the MHR line – Malossi’s highest-performing series – the new Ø 167 MHR cooling fan is compatible with all Vespower ignitions.
Get ready to cool even the hottest temperatures with a vortex that caresses the engine, ensuring blazing performance and optimal heat management.
There’s a wind of change in your garage!
Durability and power: the promise of the Ø 167 MHR 7419899 cooling fan
The Ø 167 MHR Malossi cooling fan is a masterpiece of engineering, entirely milled from solid, expressly dedicated to Vespa engines that reach high rotation speeds. A well-cooled cylinder is less stressed, delivers more power, and above all, increases the lifespan and reliability of mechanical components: the 7419899 fan is a silent adventure companion that blows coolness into your engine’s arteries.
