More than just a simple Sì – this is a ‘Sir, yes sir!’
Take two radically tuned, custom-built mopeds and point them at a near-vertical hill climb. First to the top takes the glory. That’s the Red Bull Epic Rise in a nutshell. Back on 22nd June 2019 in Clusone (Bergamo), Malossi threw its hat into the ring with a bespoke build penned by Vibrazioni Art Design, with racer and presenter Irene Saderini pinned at the controls.
Here’s how the carnage unfolded.
Starting from the humble backbone of a Piaggio Sì frame, we built a sci-fi monster.
It served as the ultimate baptism of fire for a brand-new component: the Wing Clutch Bell for 50cc Piaggio platforms.
