There are some days that don’t quite end when the checkered flag falls; they keep vibrating within you. The World Malossi Day held in Varano de’ Melegari on 21st September was one of those. The final stage of the 38th edition of the Malossi Trophies brought together everything we love about the track: engines pushed to the limit, impossible overtakes, laughter in the paddocks, hands greasy with two-stroke oil, and hearts beating fast. Someone even crashed, making us jump out of our seats in the stands.
And as the music swept through the Miscela Village and the sun set over the asphalt of the Riccardo Paletti Racetrack, we already knew: no one would forget this day in a hurry.

The adrenaline of the final laps
When you arrive here, at the end of the season, the titles have often almost already been decided. It’s easy to think, “It’s practically over, why push it?” And yet, no one held back. We discovered that in the final laps, it’s no longer just the points that count: it’s the desire to give one’s utmost, right up to the very last inch of asphalt, to have fun and push beyond one’s limits. That’s when you see the true racers—those who don’t give up even when the standings are virtually set.
And that’s where we saw Giuseppe Iannini, winner of the World Malossi Day Cup, lead hungry competitors like Birtele and Scelzo, defending his position with razor-sharp focus.

We noted the same spirit in every category: in the ScooterMatic Trophy, with Vincenzo Sciacca confirming his superiority by riding like a maniac; and in the Malossi Racing Academy, with Valentino Corsi demonstrating his talent with every lap.

Race or party? World Malossi Day!
IThe World Malossi Day is both a competition and a gathering for those who live life fully, even off the track. The paddocks were swarming with mechanics, friends, families, and curious onlookers, all with the same expression on their faces: the look of people who know they are sharing something special—a passion to be cultivated and handed down.
Right alongside, there was the Miscela Village, with its games and guests most loved by the Malosser community, turning the day into a true motorsport festival. There were people testing their vehicle’s power on the dyno bench, taking home a gadget, or simply enjoying the race spectacle from the stands and thinking, “It’s certainly not easy pulling off those moves on such small wheels!”
The pride of a season
That’s a wrap on the 38th edition of the Malossi Trophies. Thirty-eight seasons defined by racing, personal growth, and shared passion: young talent transforming into skilled riders, champions pushing themselves to the limit, mechanics evolving alongside their vehicles, and countless stories converging at the green light. The World Malossi Day was the perfect finale: a day that truly united our community and captured the entire essence of what we do. It’s not just about competition; it’s about experiences that last, friendships born between tightening a bolt and hitting an apex, and rivalries that ultimately become a form of mutual respect and shared growth.

There’s an inevitable hint of sadness, as every closing curtain means a wait before we meet again. Yet, this is quickly replaced by the joy of parting with full hearts and minds already buzzing with anticipation for the next season. So, no time for gloom: we’ll see you again at EICMA for the official awards ceremony honouring this year’s Malossi Trophies champions.
