A scorching 2-day event: The Trofei Malossi races in Binetto

The June heat wasn't the only thing firing up the asphalt on the Levante Circuit.

Trofei Malossi Binetto 2025

The Trofei Malossi races held in Binetto will go down in history as a scorching hot edition of the event. On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, the riders raced as only they do when there is much more at stake than just a podium finish: there is glory, there is the desire to become legendary.

Between braking at the limit and breathtaking accelerations, the 70cc, 100cc and Malossi Racing Academy riders put on a thrilling two-day show in which everybody gave their all. Some won, others lost, but every rider left the track a different person than when they arrived.

Victories that bring joy, defeats that make you grow

Certain riders shone brighter than the sun, yet everyone left their mark. There were surprises, comebacks, slip-ups and restarts. Each category showed how much determination it takes to stay up front, among those who crossed the finish line with the extra oomph needed to succeed and those who fell behind, promising themselves they would return and do even better.

While the crowd cheered from the stands, the riders raced with hunger in their eyes and courage powering their right wrists.

We saw contact, recoveries, hugs, lowered gazes and helmets raised to the sky. That’s because the Trofei Malossi are not merely races: for the riders, they are a journey of self-introspection, a yardstick to measure the desire to push themselves further that each of them has within.

The overall rankings for the Malossi Racing Academy are led by Valentino Corsi, followed closely by Francesco Gerardo Lembo and Stefano Iotti, while in the Trofeo Nazionale Scooter Velocità (National Scooter Speed Trophy) we see Francesco Buscema, Sergio Boccardo and Vincenzo Sciacca in ranking order.

There are still plenty of thrills in store though, as we are in the middle of the season for the Trofeo ScooterMatic Girone Nord e Sicilia (ScooterMatic Northern Italy and Sicily Trophy).

Heroes in the wind

They are performing well this season, yet there is much more behind their results in the rankings. We will tell you everything in Veloce – Eroe nel Vento (Speed – Heroes in the Wind), the YouTube web series that takes the voices of the riders and the excitement of the races off the track.

If you were in Binetto, you know exactly what we are talking about, but if you weren’t present, you can still hear the echo.

For the past few weeks, Veloce has also referred to the newsletter dedicated to the Trofei Malossi races, which lands in your inbox to remind you of the most important events and send you the schedule for upcoming races. Would you like to receive it too? Sign up here
