It seems it is Christmas time already for Vespa and scooter lovers, since someone dressed in red has already brought his gifts here, at the gates of Milan, to present them to the public worldwide! The Malossi lion presented within its booth many revolutionary innovations.
Let’s see the main ones!

Vespower!

Malossi loves Vespa and for this reason gave new life to the first scooter in the world, thus re-starting the production of the original crankcases for PX 200! Moreover, a new Malossi electronic ignition has been presented at the EICMA, a highly customized product featuring a flywheel made from forged with external set up for additional masses according to the needs of the pilot. The reed valve carburettor kit of PE200 has been completely renewed as well.
Malossi has deeply renewed its cylinders for Vespa ET3 and PE200, thus building engines able to increase horsepower, among which one belonging to the MHR line, whose performance is definitely racing.

T-Max 530

Malossi dedicated its attention once again to the sportiest maxi-scooter, since some new parts have been officially presented at the EICMA, thus joining the already existing kit for Yamaha T-Max 530. In 2013 Malossi broke another record, being the first in the world to present the new model of the best-selling scooter from Iwata with key components such as the 560cc engine. At the show we also presented two very important new products, which will be available in 2014: Malossi PowerCammes camshafts, specifically dedicated to this new engine, and Force Master 3 cdi, with a completely renewed hardware endowed with a much higher calculating capacity. The cdi features now a display supplying all the functioning information, and it includes a lambda emulator able to modify the signal and convey the maximum power at all RPMs. PowerCammes camshafts were completely re-designed to make the most of the new engine. First they were studied on the computer, then they have been refined at the test bench with the “magic” touch of Malossi technicians.
What happens if you install on T-Max 530 Malossi 560cc engine, the complete exhaust system and PowerCammes camshafts without any further modification? Well, the answer is a more than ten horsepower increase!

C-one crankcase

Our “one more thing” of this year is a true revolution in scooter racing. Up to now people have been using on the race tracks original crankcases, designed to bear a little horsepower, which should be modified to resist the stress of a competition with 70cc engines and about twenty-six horsepower.

Malossi changed the rules one more time and it is proud to present its C-one crankcase to the international public.
C-one crankcase has been designed at Malossi headquarters in Calderara di Reno, keeping in mind all the requirements of a modern high-performance racing scooter.
The automatic mixer has been removed, as well as the traditional mechanic water pump, in order to reduce dispersions. The crankcase is also set up for the installation of a rear disc brake system and two different fixings for the stud bolts.
The crankcase is suitable for all scooters originally equipped with Piaggio 50cc engine and fits all the already existing Malossi parts, plus those that will be released in the near future. You can be sure that there will be many interesting new products, starting from the completely renewed range of cylinders, of which Malossi gave a small taste during the Eicma show.
